Karter Mycroft is a literary and science fiction author whose work often involves marine ecology, medicine, the history of science, and the relationship between people and the natural world.
Karter is also a musician in many genres, having produced over a dozen records and scored short films, video games, and nonprofit ad campaigns.
In 2022, Karter’s first solo-dev video game, “Welcome to Los Suelos,” was released as part of the Los Suelos, CA project, a multimedia anthology benefiting migrant laborers in California.
Aside from creative pursuits, Karter is a fisheries scientist focused on swordfish and shark fishing off the U.S. West Coast, with research published in several academic and industry journals.
Karter lives and works in Los Angeles.
